Pakistan has taken India to the international court on the issue of termination of special status of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said this. He said, “In principle, it has been decided to take the Kashmir case to the international court.” According to Qureshi, this decision was taken in view of the legal aspects. Pakistani Prime Minister’s Information Advisor Firdous Ashiq Awan said that in principle, the Kashmir issue was allowed by the Council of Ministers to be taken to the international  court. Specifically, the issue will be raised in the international court, focusing on the issue of human rights violations in Kashmir. Just four days ago, an informal meeting of the UN Security Council (UNSC) on the Kashmir issue was debated. Talking to the media after the meeting of the UN Security Council, India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, said Akabuddin, said that the issue of Article 370 of the Constitution was completely internal to India and had no external impact. According to India, the removal of the special status of Kashmir from Jammu and Kashmir was an internal matter and had no external effect. Conflict  Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a joint session of Pakistan’s parliament earlier this month, Pakistan said Pakistan would “raise the Kashmir issue from the UN Security Council to every forum in the world and bring it to the international court”. Former Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Saturday that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had ended the Nehru-shaped India-India dialogue. Pakistan had formally called for an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council to discuss the issue after India removed Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. On August 5, the Government of India abolished Article 370 of the Constitution of India relating to Jammu and Kashmir. Then the province was divided into two Union Territories. Pakistan had lowered its diplomatic relations with India in opposition to the move. The agreement between the two countries was announced to close the express and Thar express rail services.
