KATHMANDU: Various people’s organizations near the CPN (Masal) staged a protest in Kathmandu on Friday against a map published by India. People’s organizations including Akhil (6th), All Nepal Youth Association, All Nepal Women’s Association, All Nepal Tribes Conference, All Nepal Law Professionals Association, All Nepal Farmers’ Association have jointly protested. The procession organized by Ratnapark in the capital had raised the slogans of Indian imperialism, murders, discarding fake maps, returning Indian troops and protecting the integrity of the country. The procession had reached the Indian Embassy via Jamal, Durbar Marg, Rajdwar-based Southgate, Nagpokhari, Uttar Pradesh. Various speakers addressed after the procession. Addressing the protests, General Secretary of Rastriya Janamorcha Janakraj Sharma said that Indian imperialism has increased the intervention of Nepal by incorporating Nepali land in its map.
